Medical Assessment for Driving Licence – Diabetes
A diabetes assessment is required by law for people with diabetes who need to renew their driving licence.
The consultation assesses the patient’s suitability in relation to road safety requirements, as well as any complications associated with diabetes, including the quality of glycaemic control and the ability to manage hypoglycaemia.
