Neurological Follow-up
A neurological follow-up is performed after a period of time determined by the specialist. It is a more focused examination, mainly addressing the condition previously assessed, to determine whether it has completely or partially resolved or whether the patient’s clinical condition has improved.

Carotid and Vertebral Artery Doppler Ultrasound
Carotid and vertebral artery Doppler ultrasound is a non-invasive examination that uses ultrasound and Doppler technology to assess the arteries originating from the aorta that supply blood to the brain, particularly the carotid and vertebral arteries. Obstruction of these vessels may increase the risk of stroke.

Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound
Transcranial Doppler ultrasound assesses blood flow in the main intracranial arteries, including the middle cerebral and basilar arteries. When performed with microbubble contrast and monitoring for microembolic signals, it can also help detect a possible communication between the right and left sides of the heart, suggestive of a patent foramen ovale (PFO).
