ASSESSMENT AND REHABILITATION OF SMELL FUNCTION IN PATIENTS WHO HAVE HAD COVID-19
POST-COVID-19 OLFACTORY ASSESSMENT AND REHABILITATION
The post-COVID-19 olfactory assessment and rehabilitation program is designed to evaluate and treat the loss of smell (anosmia) or reduced sense of smell (hyposmia) that may occur following a COVID-19 infection. These procedures involve olfactory assessment tests to measure the degree of impairment, followed by rehabilitation programs that may include smell training exercises and targeted therapies to help restore or improve compromised olfactory function. The goal is to gradually recover the perception of odors and improve the quality of life of individuals affected by this post-COVID-19 condition.
